Pumpkin Butter Jam
This pumpkin butter jam is a delightful fall treat thats very simple to make. Its flavorful, thick, and ideal for spreading over your preferred breakfast foods.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups canned pumpkin puree
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, and brown sugar over medium-high heat
Stir in the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the lemon juice
Allow the pumpkin butter jam to cool completely
Transfer the cooled jam into sterilized jars, seal, and store in the refrigerator
