Keto Pesto Cream Cheese Turnovers
These Keto Pesto Cream Cheese Turnovers are a delightful appetizer that combines the flavors of creamy cheese and zesty pesto in a crispy puff pastry shell. They are perfect for parties or as a savory snack any time
Ingredients:
- 1 package keto-friendly puff pastry dough
- 1/2 cup keto-friendly pesto sauce
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C
Cut the puff pastry dough into squares after rolling it out
While the cream cheese is soft, mix the pesto sauce and it in a small bowl until everything is well mixed
On each puff pastry square, put a small amount of the pesto cream cheese mixture
Use a fork to seal the edges of each square to make a triangle
Beat the eggs and use them to brush the tops of the turnovers
Put the turnovers on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it
After the oven is hot, bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it
If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves as a garnish
Enjoy while still warm
