Crockpot BBQ Beer Chicken Burger

Enjoy the delicious flavors of slow-cooked BBQ beer chicken in the form of a burger. There is soft chicken, smoky BBQ sauce, and just the right amount of spices in this Crockpot BBQ Beer Chicken Burger. Its served on soft burger buns. It has a bit of tangy sweetness and a hint of beer. Its the best comfort food ever. Get ready for a huge taste explosion

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Pickles
  • Additional BBQ sauce for drizzling

Instructions:

In a crockpot, combine BBQ sauce, beer, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt

Mix well

Add the chicken breasts to the crockpot and coat them with the sauce mixture

Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through

Shred the cooked chicken using two forks and stir it into the sauce in the crockpot

Let it sit for a few minutes to soak up the flavors

Toast the burger buns in the oven or on a skillet until lightly browned

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each bottom bun

Top with a generous portion of the BBQ beer chicken

Add sliced red onion, lettuce leaves, and pickles to taste

Drizzle with additional BBQ sauce if desired

Place the top bun on the assembled ingredients to complete the burger

Serve hot and enjoy
