Tofu Ball Recipe
These flavor-filled tofu balls are a great starter or side dish for any meal. They have the ideal ratio of savory and aromatic ingredients, making them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Ingredients:
- 400g tofu, pressed and crumbled
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated carrot
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
Crumbled tofu, breadcrumbs, grated carrot, cilantro, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a mixing bowl
Until everything is evenly combined, thoroughly mix
Place the mixture on a plate after forming it into small balls
In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat
Place the tofu balls in the skillet and cook for 34 minutes on each side, or until golden brown on all sides
Take out of the skillet and put on a plate covered with paper towels to absorb extra oil
Serve hot, as desired, or with your preferred dipping sauce
