Spicy Coleslaw Cheeseburger
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 cup coleslaw mix cabbage and carrots
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 pickle slices
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, paprika, salt, and pepper
Mix well and form into 4 burger patties
Grill or cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese
While the burgers are cooking, prepare the spicy coleslaw
In a separate bowl, mix the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, and hot sauce
Adjust the hot sauce to your desired level of spiciness
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned
To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese, a spoonful of spicy coleslaw, a tomato slice, and a pickle slice
Top with the other half of the bun
Serve the spicy coleslaw cheeseburgers hot and enjoy
